OUR Services
At Pivotal Pathways, we offer psychological and psychoeducational assessments to help children and adolescents receive support to reach their full potential. We understand that every child is unique, and we work closely with parents to identify services that are tailored to meet their specific needs.

Assessment
We offer comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations which assess a child's cognitive, academic, social, emotional , and behavioral functioning. The process may include interviews with the child and their parents or caregivers, observation of the child's behavior, and standardized tests.
The results of the evaluation can be used to identify the following:
-
Learning Disabilities (including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia)
-
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
-
Autism (ASD)
-
Emotional or Behavioral disorders
-
other conditions that may impact your child’s academic or personal success
Treatment recommendations are tailored to help them overcome educational hurdles they may be experiencing.
IQ Testing/Gifted Evaluation
We offer IQ testing to identify gifted children who demonstrate exceptional intellectual abilities. The testing typically involves a standardized IQ test, which assesses a range of cognitive skills, including verbal and nonverbal reasoning, spatial awareness, and problem-solving.
The results of the testing can be used to provide appropriate educational opportunities and support for gifted children, including advanced coursework, enrichment programs, and specialized services. It is also frequently required for private school entry.

Independent Educational Evaluations
We offer Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) Services. An Independent Educational Evaluation is an evaluation of a child's educational needs and progress conducted by a qualified professional who is not employed by the school district. Parents have the right to request an IEE if they disagree with the evaluation conducted by the school district. The purpose of an IEE is to provide an objective assessment of the child's educational needs and to help parents and educators make informed decisions about the child's education.

School Record Reviews/Consultation
Our school record review process involves a thorough examination of your child's academic and behavioral history. This process typically includes a review of transcripts, attendance records, disciplinary reports, and any other relevant documentation. The purpose of the review is to gain insight into the your child's strengths and weaknesses, identify any areas of concern, and develop a plan to support the their academic success. The information gathered during the review can be used to inform decisions about placement, interventions, and support services.
